Innovation needs to be a Reiwa goal. Japanese firms have essentially failed to produce any innovative products over the past 30 years. Japan during the Heisei Era pushed for education that sought to cultivate cooperativeness and obedience and sent students to universities that are difficult to enter — just like in the preceding decades after World War II. As long as students go through this kind of education, Japan will not be able to cultivate people who can breed new ideas…. Japan’s education must be changed to value the distinct individuality of each student.
令和時代に真に求められるものは、「リスクを取る」ということを怖がらない文化を一般化させることだと厳しく指摘しています。平成30年のいろいろな統計データーは「失われた30年」を象徴しています。
平和と繁栄の中で安定に暮らしてきた日本人は生まれ持つDNAに加えて、益々 ”自らリスクを取る” ということをしない習慣が身についてきているような気がしてならない。上下左右をしっかり確認して、これなら危険がないかもという状況の下でしか、自分の意見を言い、自分の行動が取れない。本当にこんなんことで世界の中で生きて行けるのだろうかと嘆かわしいと思うのは私だけではない。学生はもとより、平成時代を働いた人たち全員が考えてみる時ではないだろうか。この記事はしっかりとこの点を指摘している。
令和は平成からの変革の時代にしていきたい。
