20 Year’s Footstep of Entrepreneur Engineering
高知工科大学大学院起業家コース20年のあゆみ (冨澤 治, Osamu Tomisawa)
In1999, then president Y. Suematsu, Professors H. Mizuno and G. Kano took the initiative to establish the Entrepreneur Engineering Course as a course of graduate school of engineering in Koch University of Technology. The objective was to provide education program which bridges the gap between engineering and management, specifically for adult people who work in the actual industry as engineers. A concept of “Entrepreneur Engineering” is to investigate a dynamic process of business creation from technology seeds. This paper reviews history of the course, and then describes basic concept of entrepreneur engineering, and education/research activities in the course.
1999 年、当時の高知工科大学末松安晴学長、水野博之教授、加納剛太教授らが中心となって大学院工学研究科基盤工学専攻のひとつのコースとして起業家コースが開設された。これは工科系の大学で、技術と経営を結び付ける教育プログラムを提供する日本で最初の試みであった [１]。同年6 月22 日の日経産業新聞「直談究論」コラムに加納教授とのインタビュー記事が「理工科
大学院に起業家コース」という表題で掲載され、「理工系の人材に起業家マインド（アントレプレナーシップ）を植え付け、技術をビジネスに結びつけるノウハウを伝授する。米国の大学と協
力して国際的な体制で取り組もうとしている」、また「コースの設置に当たりスタンフォード大学、コロラド大学と教育研究で協力する」と記載されている。企業等に勤める社会人を主な学生層とし、そのため講義は土日のみに実施し、社会人が授業をう
けやすいように作られた新たなビジネスモデルともいえる仕組みを構築し、起業工学という概念をベースとして1999 年に高知工科大学大学院起業家コースが設立されたことは起業家精神に基づき、あらたな一つの教育ベンチャーを立ち上げたものととらえることができる。まず起業家コースの沿革を一通り眺め、その後起業家コースの理念、基盤となる起業工学の考え方、そして起業家コースの教育、研究について述べる。

Entrepreneur-Engineering; The Advocated Intent and Objectives and its 20 years’ Footstep Mitsuhiro KURASHIGEThis paper describes the intent and objectives of the entrepreneur engineering, originally proposed by Kochi University of Technology (KUT) in 1999, and the co-founded research society’s twenty years long footstep. Finally, summarizing the roles contributed, and agendas for further challenges.
内外に先駆けて1999年に高知工科大学が提唱・設立した専門職大学院の起業家コースが20周年を迎えた。同コースは工学と経営学を融合させ、起業に焦点を合わせた教育・研究を目指した。これに符合して、映像情報メディア学会内にｱﾝﾄﾚﾌﾟﾚﾅｰ・ｴﾝｼﾞﾆｱﾘﾝｸﾞ研究会（略称アントレ研、起業工学研究会）が設立され、研究発表・討論の場も育まれてきた。起業工学設立以来20年に至る歩みを紹介し、起業工学が果たした役割を紹介し、今後の課題を総括する。
